New Rules For HMO Properties

Landlords of House of Multiple Occupancy (HMO) Properties face tighter regulations under new plans launched by a number of councils in the UK.
Many student and shared properties face applying for licences where 3 to 5 tenants are occupying houses. The rules will apply to new properties only and the move has caused uproar amongst many landlords in student dominated areas though the plans look set to be given the green light in the not too distant future.
