Good morning all, as a person who has dealt with Landlords Insurance for…well more years than i can remember, you do see or hear of the occasional scenario where you feel awful for the landlord. Seeing the New Homes from Hell on ITV, you may have seen the tenants who created a cannabis farm on the property. The landlord only found out when the tenants had gone and the police had been called. Of course, there are no guaranteed ways of getting a good tenant, but the more checks you do initially the better in this day and age. A check on the property in first 6 months is a good move, and if you were to be friendly with the neighbours they may be able to give you a heads up.
